One person was hospitalized after being fired at Dockweiler Beach, Playa del Rey on Saturday night.
Los Angeles police received a report of the shooting around 7:08 p.m. Officers arrived at the scene and found the victim identified as only a 40-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was taken to hospital in an unknown condition.

Video of the scene shows the majority of the beach car park surrounded by police tape. We saw many beach fans leaving the area for safety.
Police also investigated the car park sedan that caused significant damage to the front end. Authorities did not provide details on how the vehicle was connected to the shooting.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unknown. No arrests have been made.
