A reward of up to $10 million for information was announced Thursday in Los Angeles in search of fugitives who the FBI has fled due to murder and other crimes.
A federal arrest warrant issued in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles in September for Canadian citizen Ryan James Wedding after being charged with murder in connection with ongoing criminal enterprise and drug crimes and other drug-related crimes.
LAPD detective chief Alan Hamilton used the wedding as the main hub for drug distribution operations, moving cocaine and fentanyl into the region. The wedding ceremony has been organized, which involves multiple murders related to drug trafficking operations, according to the FBI.
He is believed to live in Mexico and is probably protecting Sinaloa’s drug cartels, authorities said. Wedding’s aliases include James Conrad King, Jesse King, Giant, Public Enemy and El Jefe.
The wedding represented Canada at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
The reward of up to $10 million is for information that leads to his arrest and conviction.
The wedding was one of 16 defendants charged last year by California prosecutors in connection with drug trafficking.
