A 15-year-old boy sitting at a bus stop was killed after being hit by a car in Long Beach.
On June 11, Long Beach Police responded to a crash on Palo Verde Avenue and Carson Street just before 3pm.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of the Infinity G37 sedan was moving west down Carson Street when he ran a red light at the intersection of Palo Verde Avenue.
Infinity attacked the Toyota Prius, which was moving south along Palo Verde Avenue.
This effect caused the Infinity sedan to capsize. The car slid into the sidewalk and attacked a 15-year-old boy sitting at a bus stop.
The boy rushed to the hospital, where he died of injury. The Infinity driver was taken to the hospital in a stable condition, and the Prius driver was not injured.

“At this point, speed appears to be a factor in the collision,” police said.
The 15-year-old boy’s identity has not been released. A fatal crash is under investigation.
