The influencer’s celebration of her custom car transformed into a die-cast model quickly turned into panic as the all-inspired vehicle – a custom $150,000 Chevrolet Camaro – was stolen at a local event.
Autumn Spooner is a car influencer who jumped into SOCAL to celebrate and promote the launch of a custom, real-life Chevy Camaro ZL1 die-cast replica.
A spokesman for Spooner said her valuable possessions were stolen on Friday evening. She left it in the care of Jada Toys, the brand that had been displaying the car as part of the launch, the spokesman said.
“This was meant to be a fall milestone moment as her actual ZL1 influenced the release of the die-cast replica,” the spokesman added. “Instead, it became a nightmare… taking responsibility for not signing a formal agreement, the situation ravaged her and left no answers.”

Spooner herself posted a video on Instagram to clarify the situation and said she received some insane news in her gut when she told California “literally on a plane.”
“Essentially, I transported it [to California] And I got it [to Costa Mesa] Around 2pm,” she said in a video posted late Friday night.
A post on Spooner’s Instagram Story is said to indicate that the car is driving eastward on the 91 highway, near the exchange for the 57 highway. The Camaro, who she was wrapped in purple, was not wrapped, so the license plate was removed. However, according to Spooner, the steering wheel on her Instagram remained in the car.

A video previously posted by Spooner, with over half a million followers on the social media platform, shows the diecast model is part of the Jada Toys pink slipline, and the Toy Maker’s website shows that the car, a 1:24 scale model, will be available for pre-order on Saturday afternoons. That said, the $25 model is already sold out by 7am on Saturday.
Spooner’s Instagram Bio says she is an Arizona resident and owns a BMW G80 M3 and a BMW E36 M3 in addition to the Camaro ZL1.
