After the crash, Hardison Harper escaped the scene. Police later found the teenager’s car parked at the Irvine Spectrum Center Mall.
The teen decided to catch the movie in the cinema instead of reporting the crash, authorities said.
He was arrested and booked at the Orange County Jail for a felony hit and run.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have had photos or videos of crashing.
