Detectives investigating the case ultimately identified Thomas and Ramirez as suspects involved.
On March 27, deputies served as search warrants at two Moreno Valley homes. One is in the 12,000 block of Sunny Meadows Drive and the other in the 23,000 block of Elyce Courthouse.
While searching for the property, additional evidence related to theft was discovered. The two men were detained at the scene.
