Authorities arrested 23 suspects in a bust of retail theft over several days in Riverside County.
The business was a partnership with local business owners, large retailers and loss prevention employees who worked with Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Robbery and Robbery Control Team.
The three-day operation took place between March 5th and 7th, focusing on local businesses in the Lake Elsinore area. A total of 23 suspects were arrested during their bust, with more than $4,000 stolen items found.
The 23 suspects have been arrested on more than 40 charges. Authorities said six suspects are eligible for a Proposed 36 felony charges relating to previous theft and drug-related crimes.
