A new study tracking the current status of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) at universities in education for conservative nonprofits found that 243 universities maintain DEI offices or programming throughout their facilities, and still have 383 “currently active” DEI offices and programs.
Previously known as parents’ defense education, Defending Education is a national grassroots organization that works to “fight in classrooms and campus in order to promote the restructuring of quality non-political education for all students.”
The group’s investigation also highlights that it discovered dozens of schools that took steps to take measures to protect education rather than shutting down as others did.

Research shows that at least 27 universities, universities or schools within such institutions have taken steps to do this. Meanwhile, in “some cases,” the school moved online DEI resources behind password-protected web pages.
“Dayevangelists at federally funded agencies are concealing racism for violating federal law and believe they will not be discovered. But our latest report shows that they have already been,” says Sarah Partial Perry, advocating for a vice president of education and legal fellow who has extensive legal experience in the field of higher education. “Despite a very clear directive from the White House to end the ‘DEI’ practice, too many higher education institutions simply sent their discrimination underground by renaming or reorganizing race-based initiatives and DEI offices. ”

In response to the charges, a VUMC spokesman told Fox News Digital at the time that he was undergoing a “full review” of the program, which stated that “revisions may be required to maintain compliance, such as updating information about websites and other public platforms.”
But today, offices such as Health Equity, Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and Diversity Affairs offices still appear to be active, according to R-Tenn Sen. Marsha Blackburn.

The White House has blown up some of the country’s best universities for “bad misconduct” after Harvard refused to comply with the Trump administration’s demands related to the termination of the DEI program. Amid Harvard’s refusal to comply, the administration announced this week that it would freeze the agency’s federal funds over $2 billion.
When asked during this week’s press conference why federal funding has become so accessible to Premier Ivy League agencies like Harvard, White House spokesman Caroline Leavitt said it is a question President Donald Trump frequently reflects on.

“This is a question the president clearly raised in his argument,” Leavitt said. “I think a lot of Americans wonder why their taxes go to these universities when they’re not only indoctrinating students in our country, but also causing such a terrible illegal activity.”
Perry told Fox News Digital that defense education will not stop looking for “discrimination” in higher education to “completely” assurance of the reality of all American students.
