Four suspects have been arrested after authorities discovered massive illegal marijuana operations in Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
The suspect was identified as follows:
Brent Kennedy, 34, Simi Valley Jason Zikarev, 34, Simi Valley Jake Burton, 38, Santa Clarita Reese Clark, 54, Acton
In November 2024, detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office began investigating reports of multinational marijuana growth operations in their homes in Simi Valley, Los Angeles, Santa Clarita and Acton.

On February 20, a search warrant was provided at each suspect’s home, accompanied by two other homes related to the group’s operations.
A large number of marijuana plants were found on each property. The rooms were converted into a controlled environment for plant cultivation and harvesting, and “contained complex timing, lighting, irrigation and fertilization mechanisms,” officials said.
In total, the authorities were seized:

All four suspects were arrested on various drugs, cultivation, conspiracy and weapons charges. Kennedy posted a $20,000 bail, while Clark, Zikarev and Burton posted a $50,000 bail. The court hearing is scheduled for March 6th.
No further details have been made public as the case is under investigation.
