Nicky Katt, known for his roles in “Dazed and Confused” and “Boiler Room,” has died, according to multiple reports. He was 54 years old.
Kat’s lawyer, John Sloth, confirmed the actor’s death with a Hollywood reporter and rap. No cause of death or additional information was provided.
Kat’s earliest role dates back to 1980, making an unreliable appearance in the television series Fantasy Island. According to his IMDB page, he appeared on multiple television shows throughout the 80s, playing the role of “Harvey, The Love Bug,” “The Gang,” and “Facts of Life.”

But it was in 1993 when Kat landed one of his bigger roles as Clint Bruno in the adult film “Dazed and Confused.” He later played Greg Weinstein in the 2000 film “The Boiler Room,” and Adolf Hitler in 2002’s “Full Front.”

Kat told the 2002 Los Angeles Times that he gave him a different perspective on acting, as he was the actor who portrayed Hitler during the fictional play “Sound and Wholer.”

After some films, the South Dakota native returned to television and played the Senate Harry in almost 50 episodes of “Boston Public.” He also appeared in Friends, The Guardian, King of the Hill, Monk, and Love Monkey.
Cut’s latest role was in the episode of Hulu’s “casual.”
Details of Kat’s death were limited, but it reportedly happened last week in Burbank, California, Variety reported.
