Six people were hospitalized after a crash in downtown Long Beach on Saturday.
The crash occurred just before 1:30am at the intersection of Long Beach Boulevard and Ocean Boulevard across from Long Beach Terrace Theatre
Two vehicles were found that caused severe damage at the scene. Grey Chiario sedan and black Honda Civic Sports sedan.

A preliminary investigation by Long Beach Police showed a vehicle with five women heading east on Ocean Boulevard. When they made a left turn on Long Beach Boulevard, it was struck by a car with one male driver inside.
The impact caused Kia to crash into a traffic pole in the central central area, causing Honda to land on the sidewalk across the street.
Six people were taken to hospital with various injuries. At least one woman was transported in serious but stable condition. Police did not check which passengers were in each vehicle.
Photos from the scene showed that both cars had serious damage to the front edge. A large amount of car debris was scattered around the intersection.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Police said speed and impaired driving are considered factors.
No further details have been released, including driver identity.
