A hit-and-run on the 60 highway had a semi-truck flipped over on that side and lanes closed.
According to CHP official Garcia, officers responded to an eastbound span on the highway on Azusa Avenue in Hacienda Heights after 1:50am Tuesday.

“Preliminary information shows that the crash fall is involved with a cicada that landed on that side,” Officer Garcia said. “The driver escaped the scene.”

There were no immediate reports of injuries. Authorities were unable to provide information about other vehicles involved.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
The eastbound lane was cleared about two hours after hit and run.
