A 63-year-old man has died from his injuries after being struck by multiple vehicles in Orange County, police said Saturday.
The Santa Ana Police Department said it received multiple calls about an accident near 1st Avenue and Center Street on Friday around 5:57 p.m.
Police officers and Orange County Fire personnel responded to the scene and found a pedestrian struck by two vehicles. Police later identified the pedestrian as 63-year-old George Estrada Telles of Costa Mesa.
Paramedics treated Telles at the scene, then firefighters transported him to a local hospital where life-saving efforts were performed, but the victim succumbed to his injuries, authorities said.
The latest information from the Santa Ana Police Department indicated that only two vehicles were involved, but initial reports from the department indicate that three vehicles crashed into Telles, with one vehicle fleeing the area. There is.
