President-elect Trump withdrew his latest nominations on Saturday afternoon, including two candidates to lead the Department of Justice (DOJ) and one to work within the Department of Transportation (DOT).
In a post on Truth Social, the president-elect announced his nomination of Aaron Reitz to lead the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Policy. Trump wrote that Wrights “will develop and implement the Department of Justice’s battle plan to advance my law and order agenda and restore the health of our nation’s justice system.”
“Aaron is currently Chief of Staff to Sen. Ted Cruz and previously served as aide to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, where he led dozens of successful lawsuits against the lawless and crooked Biden administration. Trump continued, adding that Rights will work closely with whoever Trump chooses for the United States. Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Following his initial announcement, President Trump nominated Chad Mizell to be the next chief of staff at the Justice Department, who will also work with Bondi.
“During my first term, Chad served as General Counsel and Chief of Staff for the Department of Homeland Security, where he helped secure our borders and stop the flow of illegal drugs and foreign nationals into our country.” The instructor explained.
“Chad is a MAGA warrior and will help restore accountability, integrity, and justice to the Department of Justice.”

In his third post, Trump nominated David Fink to be the next administrator of the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), describing his nominee as a “fifth generation railroad worker.”
“David brings more than 45 years of leadership and success in the transportation sector and will lead FRA into a new era of safety and innovation,” President Trump said. “Under David’s leadership, the Federal Railroad Administration will be great again. Congratulations, David!”
Late Saturday, President Trump announced the appointment of Houston Rockets owner Tilman J. Fertitta as U.S. ambassador to Italy.
