Today is Christmas Eve, so last-minute shoppers flock to stores to finish their gift purchases.
At Commerce’s Citadel Outlets, KTLA’s Jacqueline Sarkisian spoke to shoppers, some of whom were held back by sold-out items.
But one shopper had backup plans.
“Michael Kors, right here,” said a shopper named Hugo, pointing over his shoulder. “I’m going to bring her a bag.”
And Hugo’s daughter Honey made it clear she wanted something “blue-y” and even sang a song from the show to show she was a fan.
For others, at least they had an excuse to procrastinate, even if they didn’t have a backup plan.
“I felt like I got married this weekend,” shopper Danielle told Sarkisian.
Danielle said there were still gifts available for purchase for parents and children, but for her mother, the shopper chose to go the hands-on route.
“This is where my mom comes often. She hasn’t been here in years, but she always comes to Ruby’s to get something to eat,” she said.
As for Daniel’s four girls, they need something to put under the tree.
“You’ll find something good, believe me,” she said.
