Wicked Sing Along and Bonus Scenes
By purchasing a copy of “Wicked,” fans will also receive a bonus 40-minute sing-along version, deleted and extended scenes, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film, and a welcome to Shiz University. The version sold will also include commentary from director Jon Chu and stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.
“The sing-along version has the lyrics right below, so it’s going to be released this Christmas, December 25th, where people can go to the cinema and sing along, and it’s finally being allowed to do that.” And we’re including it in the home video version, too, so you can sing it at home with your kids, with your grandparents,” Chu told NBC Insider.
Elphaba’s iconic witch’s hat is just one of the amazing creations created by Wicked costume designer Paul Tazewell. He began the process eight months before filming, using “The Wizard of Oz,” the original “Wicked” novel and the Broadway musical as inspiration.
