Detectives and loved ones are asking for the community’s help in locating a 3-year-old girl who was abducted by her mother in Lancaster on Friday, officials said.
Emerald “Emi” Noel Clairborne is considered “critically missing” because she is unable to speak and has medical issues, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
LASD said Emi was last seen on Dec. 27 at around 3 p.m. in the 2300 block of Rosewood Avenue when her mother, Brianna Levnia Haywood, left in her car.

At the time, Haywood was allegedly driving a white 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer with an unknown license plate number.
Detectives said Emi was a 3-year-old black toddler, 3 feet 3 inches tall and approximately 42 pounds.
Officials also said Emi had short black curly hair, brown eyes and a bruise on the right side of her torso. She was last seen wearing a pink Minnie Mouse jacket, a blue shirt, black pants and pink light-up shoes, LASD said.
Authorities described Haywood as a 24-year-old black woman, 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing about 109 pounds.
LASD said Haywood has black hair and brown eyes, but a description of his clothing was not immediately available.
The family is worried about Emi’s safety.
