The Los Angeles Unified School District announced that all schools and offices will be closed again Friday due to multiple wildfires burning in the area.
“The combination of wind, fire, smoke and other factors has created an unpredictable and complex situation, creating a potentially dangerous situation for the school community,” the school district said in a statement. “Selected essential employees will be contacted by their supervisors about potential positions. As the Los Angeles region continues to respond to this unprecedented crisis, the health and safety of our students and employees is of paramount importance.”
