(KTLA) – Businesses and organizations in the Los Angeles area and elsewhere are taking steps to help Southern California wildfire victims and first responders.

Click here for more information. JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Bank of America are also easing mortgage repayment terms for customers affected by the wildfires. The nonprofit organization Inclusive Action has launched an emergency fund to support outdoor workers such as street vendors, landscapers and recyclers affected by the bushfires. Through this fund, workers can apply for one-time $500 cash assistance support. Recipients will receive cash payments on a first-come, first-served basis, as funds allow. Musicares is supporting those in the music industry affected by the bushfires. The organization has funds that can cover evacuation and relocation costs, equipment replacement/repair, home damage, medical care, mental health services, and other essential living needs. Los Angeles County wildfire victims can apply for disaster assistance through the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Assistance includes grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses, and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from the effects of disasters. . The easiest way for residents to apply for assistance is online. A helpline is also available at 800-621-3362. The Will Rogers Film Pioneer Foundation is providing emergency funding to members of the theatrical distribution and exhibition community affected by the wildfires. You can view the online application here. The Salvation Army provides grants to people displaced by the fires, providing financial assistance for immediate and long-term needs.
