These are the words of their fight.

The House Oversight Committee was thrown into chaos Tuesday when Rep. Nancy Mace (R.C.) took on Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas).

“If you want to take it outside, you can,” Mace said.

The altercation began when Crockett said, “Kid, listen up” during an exchange about civil rights, women’s rights and transgender rights.

“Right now, someone’s campaign finances are in trouble. That’s why she keeps saying ‘trans, trans, trans’ and trying to make people feel threatened and like children, listen.” said Crockett.

Mace exploded in anger.

“I’m not a kid! Don’t call me a kid! I’m not a kid. Don’t even get me started,” Mace said, interrupting Crockett. “I’m a grown woman. I’m 47 years old. I’ve broken more glass ceilings than you’ll ever see…You don’t do that. I’m not a child. …If you want to take it out, we can do that.”

Crockett then attacked the Republican Party, accusing it of targeting “the most vulnerable people in our country.”

She said, “Transgender people are not going anywhere, just as racists have tried to eliminate black people in this country in some way. We are not going away either.” Ta.

Mace then continued a war of words with Crockett against X.

“I’m not a child. And if I wanted a physical fight, you know it. This wasn’t it,” she wrote. “I won’t be bullied by someone who tries to disenfranchise women while lecturing on civil rights. I won’t be bullied by someone who thinks fear of rape is a fantasy. This is personal, not political. ”

Mace further sought to clarify his comments in a statement to FOX News Digital.

“Today’s Oversight had a heated exchange about women’s rights, and there was a lot of speculation about my intentions,” she said in a statement. “To be clear, I didn’t want to pick a fight, but to take the conversation out of the way in order to have a more constructive conversation. I never intended to cause any harm to anyone. I just I was just assaulted by a professional man.” Having been injured a few weeks ago and still undergoing physical therapy, I know first-hand how leftists can actually cause physical harm. I am. I would never be bullied or called names by my co-workers like I am today. I will not be disrespected, or especially as a rape victim, I will always defend women and resist left-wing extremism that seeks to silence our voices and ignore our rights. ”

Mr. Crockett also referred to Mr. X about this exchange, writing in part: “Today, I introduced an amendment to reinstate the Oversight Subcommittee on Civil Rights and Civil Liberties. My Republican colleague threatened to physically fight me over it. Bless her heart. Please.”

Mr. Crockett’s office also fired back at Mr. Mace, saying it was clear that Mr. Mace was threatening physical violence against Mr. Crockett.

“It is clear that Rep. Mace was threatening physical violence against her as part of Rep. Crockett’s performative and ridiculous meltdown,” Crockett’s office told Fox News Digital in a statement. mentioned in. “Her slur-filled rant exemplifies exactly why the House Oversight Committee needs to pass Rep. Crockett’s amendment to reinstate the Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Subcommittee. Rep. Crockett , ignored her clear and desperate invitation that if Rep. Mace wanted to raise money from Congress, she could try someone else.
