Celebrities are doing their part to help Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.
The couple, who starred on the reality series “The Hills,” lost their Palisades home in last week’s devastating wildfires. To earn money to rebuild his life, Pratt asked his social media followers to stream Montag’s 2010 album “Superficial” and single “I’ll Do It.”
From there, celebrities like Paris Hilton, Flava Fluff, and Diplo posted videos streaming Montag’s 15-year-old single “I’ll Do It.”

Adding to the millennial nostalgia, the couple’s former “Hills” co-stars have also jumped on the trend, including Christi Cavallari, Brody Jenner, Lo Bosworth and Whitney Port. They each posted a video of themselves singing together.
It’s not just high-profile endorsements, people from all corners of the internet are uniting in support of the couple’s nickname, “Spadey.”
All the hard work paid off. Montag’s album took the number one spot on iTunes, beating out Bad Bunny’s new album, “Debi Tilal Mas Fotos.”
To build momentum, Montag released the single’s music video on Wednesday, which racked up over 10,000 views on YouTube within three hours of its release.
“This support has been such a light in a dark time for us. It’s been life-changing,” Montag said Wednesday on Good Morning America of the supporters.
Montag and Pratt were among the first celebrities to reveal that their homes were destroyed in the January 7 Palisades fire. The couple said they did not have home insurance and lost everything except two teddy bears and the clothes on their backs.
Pratt said she felt “like a ghost” after the fire destroyed all of her belongings, explaining that all her photos from before the iPhone were gone.
Pratt and Montag have been romantically involved since 2007, married in 2008, and have two children.
“The Hills” aired for six seasons on MTV from 2006 to 2010 and originally followed the life of Lauren “LC” Conrad, who starred on the hit reality show “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.” was focused.
