5 Democrat-supporting billionaires Biden didn’t mention while criticizing the political ‘oligarchy’

President Biden has warned Americans that an “oligarchy” of the “ultra-wealthy” is forming and poses a danger to the country, but in his farewell address Wednesday night he said that in recent years Biden’s election He did not mention the many billionaires who have supported the movement.

Biden spoke of the “dangerous concentration of power in the hands of a very wealthy few” and said, “In the United States, we are creating an oligarchy with extreme wealth, power and influence that is literally destroying our democracy.” There is wholeness, fundamental rights, freedom, and a fair chance for everyone to move forward.”

Here are five billionaires who recently supported President Biden.

1. George Soros

Left-wing billionaire, investor and philanthropist George Soros transferred $250,000 to the Biden Victory Fund in September 2023, according to a filing reviewed by Fox News Digital.

Mr. Soros’ check followed his largest donation to the Biden campaign that summer. Soros and his son Alex recently became administrators of the Open Society Foundations network, which funnels millions of dollars to left-wing nonprofits and causes, and on June 30, both donated $6,600 to the Biden campaign.

During the last presidential election, George gave $500,000 to the Biden Victory Fund and sent millions more to super PACs supporting him. Alex added $721,300 to the Biden Victory Fund in 2020.

2. Reid Hoffman

LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman donated $699,600 to the Biden Victory Fund, the campaign’s fundraising vehicle, on April 26, 2023, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) records.

In June 2023, Biden attended a fundraiser hosted by Hoffman on behalf of his super PAC at the private residence of Shannon Hunt-Scott and Kevin Scott in Los Gatos, California.

3. Michael Bloomberg

Former New York City mayor, billionaire entrepreneur and media mogul Michael Bloomberg has reportedly donated nearly $20 million to help President Biden run against former President Trump in the 2024 election. admitted to Fox News last year.

4. Howard Schultz

Former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz announced in 2020 that he voted for Biden that year and would contribute to the former vice president’s campaign.

5. Tom Steyer

In 2020, Biden reportedly brought in $4 million in a virtual fundraiser hosted by a small group of billionaires and other Silicon Valley donors.
