LOS ANGELES (KTLA) – Bruce Willis took time to thank first responders amid the devastating wildfires in Southern California.
The actor’s wife, Emma Hemming Willis, posted a heartwarming video on Instagram Thursday of him shaking hands with Los Angeles Police Department officers.
“Bruce didn’t miss the opportunity to find a first responder and show his appreciation with a hearty handshake and ‘Thank you for all you do,'” he wrote in the caption of the post. “Yesterday was no different.”

The “Die Hard” actor has largely stayed out of the public eye since retiring from acting in 2022. In 2023, his family revealed that he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, FTD is a common cause of dementia and occurs when nerve cells in the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain are lost, leading to atrophy of the frontal lobes.
Since his diagnosis, Willis’ family has provided regular updates on his condition.
