Let’s give you a little boost of energy right now. And a wildfire benefit concert featuring LA legends and recent (and upcoming) Coachella headliners? It may be the first jolt of excitement we’ve felt in days.
The lineup for FireAid, a benefit concert to be held simultaneously at the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum on January 30th, has just been announced, and it’s a big one. The initial lineup, which spans decades, includes, yes, more artists still to be announced, but Billie Eilish and Finneas, Earth, Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Green Day, Includes Gwen Stefani, Jelly Roll, Joni Mitchell, Katy Perry and Lady. Gaga, Lil Baby, Pink, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Sting, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, Tate McRae and the first team-up of Dave Matthews and John Mayer.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, January 22 at noon through Ticketmaster. There are no pre-sales and pricing information is not available until the sale begins. However, all proceeds will go to an upcoming list of short-term relief efforts and several long-term efforts for the Palisades and Eaton fires under the guidance of the Annenberg Foundation. (And don’t worry about the cost of the event itself; the Clippers will cover that cost.)
Both shows start at 6pm, so you can only attend one or the other. You can choose either when purchasing your ticket. As of now, specific lineups for each Inglewood venue have not been announced.
If you can’t attend, FireAid will be broadcast on nearly every streaming platform. Apple Music, Apple TV app, Max, iHeartRadio, KTLA+, Netflix/Tudum, Paramount+, Prime Video, Amazon Music channel on Twitch, LIFE with John Mayer channel on SiriusXM, SoundCloud, Veeps, YouTube. In addition, iHeartRadio will broadcast on more than 860 radio stations in addition to the app, and will host screenings at select AMC theaters in 70 locations across the United States.
FireAid is produced by manager and former Ticketmaster CEO Irving Azoff, his wife Sherry, and the Azoff family in association with Live Nation and AEG Presents.
