FOX 1st: Ahead of President-elect Trump’s inauguration, a coalition of hawkish immigration groups urges Congressional Republicans and incoming Trump administration officials to follow through on their pledge to launch a large-scale deportation operation and not back down. I’m asking you to. Or they could compromise on key issues and use the upcoming reconciliation process to implement those promises.

“The undersigned organizations and individuals write to express and pledge our support in fulfilling our promises to the American people,” the coalition said.

The 10 organizations include Heritage Action for America, NumbersUSA, the National Immigration Enforcement Center, and the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR). In a letter obtained by Fox News Digital, they warn that work must begin immediately.

“The work needs to begin in earnest immediately, due to the limited Congressional calendar, the threat of litigation from open border fanatics, the slow pace of regulatory action, and the complexity of promised law enforcement operations,” they said. says.

“Mass deportation and securing our borders are not only fundamental to public safety and national security, they are also critical to protecting American workers and deterring unscrupulous employers. It is also a means,” they say. “Most importantly, they are not bargaining chips for other policies or political priorities.”

President Trump has launched a “historic” deportation operation and promised to tighten border security. Many Republicans in Congress have raised these issues, and polls show that many Americans consider illegal immigration a top issue.

The group said the House-passed Republican border bill of 2023, which lawmakers have repeatedly urged to pass, includes many sweeping measures to secure the border and limit immigrants’ ability to apply for asylum. It is pointed out that it is included. But they now argue that the bill is a “floor, not a ceiling,” and are calling on the incoming administration and Congress to go further with funding, first through the budget reconciliation process.

“With unified control of government and the opening of critical windows, we will also help assemble a bold reconciliation package that reflects President Trump’s commitment to the American people and the very laws that govern and protect our country.” We are ready,” they say.

Their recommendations for the settlement include “deporting millions of people,” closing immigration loopholes, cutting funding to nonprofits, and “prioritizing American workers over foreign workers.” Contains additional resources for

They also warned lawmakers that they “will not grant pardons of any kind. (If you have to say it’s not a pardon, it is.)”

“The time has come to bring order to our immigration system and restore fidelity to the rule of law. The American people are waiting,” they say.

Rosemary Jenks, director of law enforcement at the Immigration and Responsibility Project, said Congress must “act immediately to provide President Trump with the resources he needs to carry out mass deportations, including ICE ERO officers and detention beds.” “We need to reverse the damage caused by foreigners.” It’s the Biden administration. ”

Fox reported Friday that the incoming administration plans to begin mass immigration arrests as early as day one.

“What we’re telling ICE is that you’re going to enforce our immigration laws without apology,” Border Patrol Agent Tom Homan told “Jesse Watters Tonight.” “We’re going to focus on the worst case scenario, the threat to public safety first, but no one is off the table. If they’re in the country illegally, that’s a problem.”
