The tea is a presidential transition tradition, but it’s a far cry from four years ago, when Trump refused to acknowledge Biden’s victory or attend the inauguration.
Melania, a Slovenian-American former model, gained attention during the first Trump administration with her impressive sense of style. French designer Hervé Pierre created the first ball gown in 2017, which is currently on display at the National Museum of American History, according to the Smithsonian Institution.
Pierre has been the White House’s first lady’s stylist since the 1990s, the South China Morning Post reported.
