Firefighters stopped a fast-moving wind-driven forest fire in Riverside County Monday night.
Preliminary information indicates the Chambers Fire was first reported around 6 p.m. in the area of Chambers and Gilbert streets in Hemet and was burning in light brush, according to wildfire tracking website Watch Duty. .
Cal Fire personnel responding to the fire reportedly requested three additional fire trucks for a total of five vehicles and a water tanker.
