Los Angeles businesses affected by the wildfires will have their tax deadlines extended, Mayor Karen Bass announced Monday.
The deadline was previously set for February 28, but has been extended to April 14 to support recovery efforts.
Bass said in the announcement that the extension was “the right thing to do.”
“I’ve always said City Hall should be an advocate for businesses, not a barrier. That’s how we move our recovery forward,” she said in a statement.
