The memo also directs agency and department heads to share the following information with OPM by 12 p.m. Thursday:
A complete list of DEIA offices and their employees as of November 5, 2024. Complete list of all DEIA-related agency agreements as of November 5, 2024. A memo to all agencies that plan to fully comply with the executive order listed above.
By 5 p.m. Friday, the agency head must submit to OPM the following:
A written plan for implementing reduction measures with respect to employees working in DEIA offices. A list of all contract descriptions or employee position descriptions that have been changed after November 5, 2024 to obscure their association with the DEIA program.

The memo was released after President Trump signed an executive order eliminating all DEI programs from the federal government.
The president also signed an order making it “the official policy of the United States government to recognize only two genders, male and female.”
