The beloved person has been devastated after being beated by the suspect of Southern California’s grandfather and died.
The victim, Fritz Mendosa (79 years old), was a veteran who had been married to his wife for over 50 years. He loved operating the Allstate insurance business in Fontana for over 30 years and providing services to customers.
“If you can say that you have a grandpa that everyone wants, it’s him,” said Mikaira Mendo Sa, the victim’s granddaughter. “He took us to many adventures. I always value my family, my children and their memories.”

On the morning of January 10, Fritz and his son opened the business of the day. They walked inside, and Fritz sat on his desk. His son went back, and when he noticed that the ceiling panel fell on the floor.
Suddenly, he found a man sitting in a chair and asked him not to hurt him. The Fontana police later identified the suspect as Ronally Barrett Stanberry (37).
“He passed through the roof and fell down,” said Mikaira about the intruder. “I think he was there overnight. The front door was locked.”
They believed that the stunbury had climbed a tree behind the business to access the roof.
The suspect asked Fritz’s son to call, but within a few seconds, a nearby baseball bat was exhibited on the wall, began to shake with Fritz’s head, and finally hit him.

Fritz was rushed to the hospital in a dangerous state. He died of injury 11 days later.
