Officials and family members are asking for the public’s help in bringing home a missing teen boy in critical condition who was last seen early Friday morning in East Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department described Max Morales as a 13-year-old Hispanic boy, 5 feet 3 inches tall, approximately 120 pounds, with black hair and dark eyes.
LASD said Morales’ loved ones are worried about his safety because he is “running away from home for the first time and has no prospect of where he will go.”
Morales was last seen around 4 a.m. on Jan. 24 in the 4200 block of Denison Avenue, police said.
Details were limited, and LASD did not immediately say whether Morales was alone or walking when he was last seen. But officials said Morales had his hair slicked back and was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
Authorities encouraged anyone with information regarding Morales and/or his possible whereabouts to contact the East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department at 323-264-4151.
