This week’s storm has led to the moisture necessary for Southern California without fear of several absorption.
But was it helpful to reduce the risk of fire that promoted the unprecedented fire storm of this month?
Fire state

According to the National Meteorological Bureau, the rainfall in Los Angeles County peaked with porter lunch, and the rain for three days reached 1.62 inches as of 10:00 am on Monday. Septurveda Canyon was 1.45 inches and not so late, and Santa Monica Pia gained 1.38 inches. However, in some areas, it was not in the top of half the inch. Agura Hills and customs saw a third inch. Alhambra has won 0.49 inches.
The snowfall in the mountains has accumulated at least one feet at some of the highest altitude, including the highlands of Lightwood and Arobea Lake. Other peaks had 1 to 10 inches. Mount Wilson gained 10 inches, Fraser Park won 2-4 inches, and Mt. Valdy won 5-10 inches.

“I dodged the bullet”
The long -awaited rainfall was full of hope, but the forecasts were flooded with fresh burns in the region, and more confusion in the area where they were attacked by disasters. I was worried about producing thunderstorms or strong storm cells. Fortunately, Kittel said that the heavy rain had missed those areas.
“This was mostly useful rain … I think we thought we had a bullet,” he said. “It helps the shooting battle and will definitely give us a break from the fire weather.”
In some areas, there was a lot of rain, and heavy rain fell in a short time, especially in the Santa Monica Mountains, and some floods and roads from mud and debris occurred. But the worst scenario was not deployed, Kittel said.
The prediction shows relatively dry days, but it may rain this weekend or next week. Kittel said that this could continue to alleviate the threat of fire.
“There are several signals in one or two rainy events,” he said.
