The seawater from Malibu to Santa Monica remains on foot because recent rain and fire debris have been carried to the coast.
The closure of water ordered by the Los Angeles County Public Health Agency affects the beach that extends from Beach, Lasflores, Malib, to Santa Monica State Beach.
According to the county, “the leakage of the fire, the pollutants in the water, and the pollutants in the water may contain toxic or carcinogenic chemicals.”
The closing order is enabled until further notifications.
The raining of marine water quality will be valid for all beaches in Los Angeles County until 8:00 am on Thursday.
Another water quality advisory will be enabled than Thursday, as the fragments of the fire may be transported to the sea.
The recommendation affects all beaches from Salflyider Beach to Beach, Las Flores, Malib, and Beach, Santa Monica, to the Worldway’s Worldway State Beach in Prayadelley.
Advisory is conducted indefinitely. This recommendation strongly promotes people to avoid contact with seawater.
