The flight from Los Angeles International Airport was canceled or delayed on Thursday due to a fatal crash drop between American Airlines airplanes and military helicopters in Washington DC.
Four flights from LAX were delayed or canceled on Thursday.
Outside Reagan National Airport in Aurlington, Virginia, an aerial collision between Blackhawk Army Helicopter and American Airlines passenger jet occurred around 9:00 pm on Wednesday. There were more than 60 people in the passenger seat, and the helicopter had three soldiers.
The flight was born from Wichita, Kansas. All passengers on the plane are said to be dead.
Some airplanes are reported to be figures and families of national development camps. They were in Wichita for the US figure skating championship.
The collision prompted Reagan National Airport to close on Wednesday night. It resumed at the eastern time of 11 am on Thursday.
In the meantime, all flights arriving and departing were diverted to a nearby airport, delayed or canceled.
