Altadena’s housing owner reunited on Thursday with the “Guardian Angel” who saved his house from Eaton Fire.
Angelus Dan Page, a vice -security officer in the protected zone, and Dimitry Rebuko, a folk volunteer of the Altadena Mountain Rescue Team, have been called to act to help evacuees on Eaton Fire night.
“We are separating people from wheelchairs, loading them into individual cars, and loading them in the car.
But when they saw Roma Alta Drive’s Steve Sucrair’s house, they said their instinct took over.
“I started pulling the hose from the house and the next house and started what I could do to extinguish as much fire as possible,” Lebako said.
A few days later, Page returned to the two houses saved that night and left notes to express how happy it was to see the house still standing.

“We have evacuated to the motel. We are watching the news all night, and we are seeing the fire progressing. There is no way for the house to pass through,” says Sucrair. I did it. I was shocked by what it was still here. And I said, “No, we must have a guardian angel.” So I found your card. I said, “Our guardian angel is wearing a badge.” ”
Sucrair has not yet returned to his house, but promises the group will reunite again.
“When you come back here, there will be steak dinners in the future,” said Shucrair.
