Los Angeles Dodgers’s teammates met a firefighter who fought the Parisade fire for over three weeks.
Dodgers Star, Shii Otani, had a pitcher Emmet Seahan and Ben Casparius visited the Pacific Parisard Fire Station 69 and donated to the crew.
The World Series Champion donated $ 10,000 to the fire department 69 and donated $ 350,000 to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation.
“For us, it can only spend time with these people,” said Seahan.
“I can’t imagine what these people have seen. I can’t imagine being here when it actually happens and I’m trying to stop the situation.”
Seahan said that Dodgers, who won the World Series in 2024, had a desire to help.
“It’s not easy for everyone, but we have the luxury of a professional athlete in this city, we have the opportunity to support, and we are all responsible for doing so. Seahan said.
In the case of firefighters at the 69 of the fire department, the visits provided morale to increase.
“I didn’t think it would happen, so I thought it was pretty cool,” said LAFD’s Tommy Kitahata.
“What they said is what they support us, but this is not only this time, but for a long time. They are not only supporting the fire department, LAFD, and the community, but also the community. He said he was supporting.
