Former Congressman Liz Cheney highlighted the past work of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in response to a tweet by Elon Musk.
Musk, who has led the Ministry of Government Efficiency (DOGE) efforts to reduce government waste and fraud, has an agency on his cross.
“Interesting,” Musk wrote in response to a post written by Mike Benz, founder and executive director of the Freedom Online Foundation, who said it was “born from USAID.” Benz shared a screenshot from an article that said that Cheney worked for an agency.
“Damn, @elon. I’m proud of what America did to win the Cold War, defeat Soviet Communism and defend democracy. Our country was in support of freedom. But American citizens declared when they retweeted Musk.

Benz shared a screenshot of Cheney’s and Mask’s post, writing, “‘Damn I was born from USAID.” – Liz Cheney. ”
“I’m not kidding,” Musk replied as he retweeted the Mercedes.
President Donald Trump shared a screenshot of Mask’s post on True Society.
The US Congressional Biographical Directory points out that Cheney was a staff member of USAID from 1989 to 1992.
She was one of the 10 House Republicans who voted for Trump for bluff each following the Capitol riots on January 6, 2021.

Last year, she supported and even campaigned alongside former Vice President Kamala Harris, a Democratic presidential candidate who lost to Trump.
During his tenure in Congress, Cheney served on the House Selection Committee, which investigated the January 6th episode.
President Joe Biden, who awarded Cheney the Presidential Citizen Medal, has forgiven lawmakers and staff members who served on the committee out of concern that they could be targeted by “politically motivated prosecutions.”

During the recent X-space, the mask stated that unlike worm-contaminated apples, USAID is a “bowl of worms.”
