A teenager was racing an e-bike with another teenager after colliding with a squad car in front of a police station on Friday night.
According to the Shimi Valley Police Department, officers responded to the 118 highway area around 7:30pm on reports of three to four Juveniles racing e-bikes “at highway” on the sidewalk “at highway” did.

The teenager, whose gender and age were not released, suffered a life-threatening injury and was treated on-site by paramedics.
No further information has been released, and California Highway Patrol officials are handling the investigation.
Authorities say that people riding electric bikes are “same regulations” as those riding regular bikes and are subject to road rules that cars follow in accordance with Chapter 1, Division 11 of the California Vehicle Code. He said he must obey. In Section 21200.
