Police are seeking community help in search of an 81-year-old at-risk 81-year-old man who was last seen in Garden Grove four months ago.
According to the Garden Grove Police Department, the man’s name was Nguyen Nguyen Van, and he was last seen on October 6, 2024 around 9am
Van was said to have been walking in an unknown direction, leaving his recovery house on foot at the time of his last sighting.
“He has never been reported as a missing person and is known to go for a walk,” police said on release. “[Van] It is considered risky and requires medication. ”
The department described the van as an Asian man weighing around 5 feet tall and 5 inches tall.
Furthermore, Van is described as bald and has no facial hair.
Van’s missing person report details that he saw him last wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt, brown pants and white shoes.
Officials said he was walking with the help of pedestrians.
Police should contact local authorities immediately if anyone has information about Van’s location.
