President Donald Trump’s Justice Department will revoke an “anti-constitutional” ruling from a federal judge who blocked Elon Musk and one of his close associates from accessing Treasury data on Monday. I pushed it forward.

The decision Saturday of US District Judge Paul Engelmayer blocked officials from the government’s Office of Efficiency from accessing personal data, such as Social Security numbers and bank account numbers. The Trump administration has said it “effectively complied” with the order, but the DOJ attacked the order as “anti-constitutional.”

The White House said Scott Bescent, the Senate secretary of the Treasury Department, was also barred from accessing data under the order.

Vice President JD Vance argued that the ruling is unconstitutional in X, saying it is an example of a judicial overreach.

“If a judge attempts to communicate to the general how a military operation is carried out, it is illegal. If a judge attempts to order the Attorney General about how to use his discretion as a prosecutor, that is also illegal. That’s not permitted. Vance wrote on Sunday.

Other White House officials reflected Vance’s statement over the weekend, claiming that the judge was blocking Doge’s legal efforts to clean up government waste.

“What we keep watching here is people who are not chosen by anyone, people who can’t answer anyone, people who have a lifelong tenure job, we’re never told to be. It’s the idea that it’s said to be. Whether it’s a Treasury bureaucrat, an FBI bureaucrat, a CIA bureaucrat, or a USAID bureaucrat, this unelected run government and run our country. With the power of the shadows, power has solidified and accumulated over the years, House Speaker Stephen Miller said in “Sunday Morning Futures.”

Musk himself denounced Engelmeyer as a “corrupted judge protecting corruption” and sought for him to be fired up each.

Trump placed emphasis on the issue later Sunday on his way to the Super Bowl in New Orleans, telling reporters that he was “very disappointed” by the verdict, but “We’ve been a long time.” There’s a road ahead,” he added.

“Judges should not be allowed to make such a decision,” he said.

The lawsuit of New York Attorney General Letitia James alleges that Musk’s Doge is seeking access to data in order to “illegally block” payments for “required programs.”
