Images from the security cameras are shared Tuesday of a customized car sought in connection with the shooting death of a 22-year-old woman trying to enter the Los Angeles highway when another driver pulled along the car and fired fire It was done.
22-year-old Reajonette Morgan was photographed at about 7:45pm on July 2nd, approaching the 105 highway entrance ramp on Vermont Avenue in West Athens. Another driver stood up next to Morgan’s white Mercedes-Benz and shot her several times before she crashed.
The shooter’s vehicle, shot on security camera video that night, continued south of Vermont Avenue.
Authorities announced a $10,000 reward approved by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday. Morgan’s family and friends attended a Tuesday Los Angeles County Sheriff’s morning press conference when the compensation was announced.
Her mother described Morgan as the other half of her heart.

“She had dreams, desires and a bright future before her,” Mother Angienet Morgan said. “She’s preparing to promote research in criminal law. She was passionate and excited about it. Regionette was full of life.
Morgan loved cooking and studied criminal justice at Los Angeles City College.
“You’re not taking my only daughter,” her mother said. “You stole our family, her friends and countless lives she touched. What you did that night on July 2, 2024 will change our lives forever Did it? ?
“You didn’t just take your life. You took the chance for a lifetime.”
Morgan was a southbound on Vermont Avenue on the Imperial Highway when it stopped at a red light. Luna said more than dozens of rounds were fired from Morgan’s car into Morgan’s car.
Morgan was hospitalized but died two days later on July 4th.
Images of the vehicle sought in connection with the shooting were shown at a press conference Tuesday. It was identified as a 2016-2018 Honda Civic 2-door couple with front spoilers, custom rims, exhaust and louvers covering the rear window, and a louvers.
“This violence not only shattered this family at all, it also left a huge hole in our community,” Sheriff Robert Luna said. “We really need your help identifying this vehicle, which is what we consider to be a unique vehicle.”
