Amazon is looking to hire thousands of new workers in Southern California.
Large e-commerce companies employ more than 2,000 full-time and part-time workers in the Inland Empire region.
The company has opened two inbound cross-dock facilities in Fontana and Yulpa Valley.
“These new inbound crossdocks are designed to receive and prepare items for Amazon’s fulfillment centers,” the company said Tuesday. “Like distribution centres, they play a key role in moving products quickly through Amazon’s logistics network and increasing supply chain efficiency.”
