LOS ANGELES (KTLA) – Police are looking for the driver of a Blackford F-150 who attacked a 60-year-old pedestrian.
A felony took place before 9:30am at the intersection of Ressed Double Bird and Clark Street in Tarzana, a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Video of the incident released by police shows the driver of a pickup truck turned left onto Clark Street when he attacked a 60-year-old while walking along a marked crosswalk.
Several people witnessed the collision and left the vehicle to assist the victim.
“The driver of the Ford F-150 was first stopped, left the car and went to where the victim was lying in the street,” police said. “The driver then returned to his car and escaped the eastbound scene on Clark Street, failing to identify himself or provide assistance as required by law.”

Paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the intersection and rushed the 60-year-old to the hospital in a critical condition. The victim’s name is withheld on the next pending notice of the relative.

The pickup driver is called a man wearing a blue jacket with a baseball cap and dark pants.
A reward of up to $25,000 is provided for information that leads to the identification, capture and conviction of a felony suspect.
