California’s most famous burger joint is consolidating its business operations in Golden State in Los Angeles County, the company announced this week.
IN-N-Out will close the Orange County Corporate Office, where the company has kept its offices since 1994, and will move employees to Baldwin Park, where the founder first opened a drive-thru restaurant in the 1940s.
“I know my family supports this move, because it is in a way that will help our n-out families to better serve our customers, our most important priority. Because we’ll be back at the company,” said the owner, owner, and the granddaughter of the company president and the couple who founded it.
The Irvine office will be closed by 2029, the company said in a release. Snyder said some of the business workers there will be moved to Baldwin Park, while others will have cross-country jumping to Tennessee.
Founder Harry Snyder opened his corporate office within a mile of his first burger restaurant in Baldwin Park, and the company has been doing well from there ever since. IN-N-Out currently has over 400 locations in California, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Colorado and Idaho.
