California Rep. Robert Garcia sought the role of billionaire Elon Musk as head of the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) at a subcommittee hearing Wednesday morning.
Rep. Garcia (D-Long Beach) has announced that committee chair Marjorie Taylor Greene will be showing off a sexually explicit photo of Hunter Biden in 2023, which will mark what he called “D — Pic.” I referred to it when I introduced it.
The photo is from Tesla and space owner Elon Musk, whom Garcia called him “President Elon Musk.”
Garcia denounced Musk through the doges that orchestra masks through the doges that President Trump created to significantly reduce federal spending. Doge’s initial goals include the Education and Labor sector and the National Institutes of Health.

The sector was established with the aim of reducing government waste and improving operational efficiency. Critics argue that Doge’s approach could undermine important public services.
In his presentation, Garcia cited Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” to criticize Trump and Musk. Working on the teenage Doge’s “staff” report, Garcia said, “They’re trying to take you…and they’re probably minors.”
Rep. William Timmons (R-South Carolina) criticized Democrats following Garcia’s remarks, justifying the Trump administration’s recent spending cuts.
“I’m disappointed that my colleagues crossing the aisle don’t take this seriously. I’m in debt of $36 trillion,” Timmons said. “We run a deficit of about $2 trillion a year.”
The hearing was the first under the new delivery of the government’s efficiency subcommittee and focused on inappropriate payments and fraud.
