The Vivek Ramaswamy campaign has filed papers to launch a widely anticipated operation for the governor of Ohio, Fox News Digital can be seen.
The venture capitalist campaign submitted its treasurer designation to Ohio’s Secretary of State on Friday. This form is a requirement before the candidate’s campaign committee makes any spending or receives donations.
This submission represents the official registration of the Governor’s Committee of Ramaswamy. The filing was made under the name “Ohio Vivek Ramaswamy” and the online record didn’t focus on explicit mentions of the governor’s bid, but Ramaswamy said on the 2026 race of the governor of Ohio It hints badly. Current Governor Mike. DeWine is not eligible to run it as he took office in 2019.
The submission comes almost a month after it was revealed that Ramaswamy has left President Donald Trump’s Office of Government Efficiency (DOGE) initiative. In a statement to Fox News, Trump Vance’s transition spokesman Anna Kelly said Ramaswamy “played an important role in helping us create Doge.”

“He is going to run for the elected office soon, which requires him to be outside of Doge, based on the structure he announced today,” Kelly explained. “We are very grateful for his contributions over the past two months and hope that he will play an important role in making America great again.”
Ramaswamy’s exit from Doge comes after he and Tesla CEO Elon Musk polarized Trump supporters over the assistance of the H-1B temporary worker visa. At the time, Ramaswamy approached the departure by saying it was “honor” to help create doji.
“I’m sure Elon & Team will be successful in streamlining the government,” he said. “I’ll quickly go into detail about my future plans in Ohio. Most importantly, all in to help President Trump make America great again!”
