The crew rescued people trapped from two SUVs after a crash in Ventura on Saturday.
The Ventura City Fire Department said crews responded to multiple calls reporting crashes at Loma Vista Road and North Victoria Avenue around 1:45pm.
Although details of how the crash occurred are limited, VCFD said it ultimately locked in both residents of the pickup truck and occupants of both the SUV.

Ventura police first arrived at the scene and found a pickup truck with two patients who had self-expeditions.
Officials said two more patients were trapped in a dangerous condition in the second vehicle, an SUV that hit a parked car.
It was not immediately clear whether the parked car was a pickup truck.
The firefighters arrived quickly and began caring for the patients.
“The vehicle has been stabilized and the escape has begun using the jaws of life,” VCFD said in the release. “The escape was very technical, with multiple patients trapped in the vehicle, but all patients were released within 30 minutes of arrival.”
The VCFD said a total of four patients were taken to a local hospital on Saturday afternoon, with their condition remaining unknown.
