After the social media post publishes how to identify individual agents, agents with US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will no longer wear body cameras during field operations.

“All US Border Patrol agents will cease using body decorative cameras (BWCs) in all operational environments,” CBP said in a statement to News Nation, which originally reported the news.

The directive is that Reddit posts can use Bluetooth to scan low-energy devices such as phones, smartwatches, speakers, and other mobile application BLE Radar to track CBP body cameras from a distance of 100 yards, and also track triggers. CBP officials sent the order after notifying agents of “potential security risks” that they would not immediately use the body camera in the field.

“All agents will refuse to use BWC until they hold off on completion of investigation and risk mitigation [body worn cameras] Until further notice. Additional guidance and information will become widespread once received,” the directive states.

Sources have claimed to NewsNation that the camera used by CBP agents is Avon Body Cams and that the social media posts are device BLE radar developed by F-Droid.

Daily average of known gota away at Southern Border Plummet, down 93% from Biden management’s highest

The directive formed the cornerstone of the president’s campaign back to the White House as both the CBP and the US Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) strengthened its enforcement efforts in the weeks since President Donald Trump took office.

Since the beginning of February, the daily average of daily gota away or illegal immigrants entering the US without arrest has dropped to just 132 per day at the tropical border, 93 from the highs seen under former President Joe Biden. It has decreased by %. A senior office of the Homeland Security Bureau told Fox News.
