The home of Los Angeles FC striker Olivier Giroud was the target of the robbery earlier this month, police said.
The 38-year-old French football star moved to Los Angeles last year after signing with LAFC in May.
Los Angeles police said they responded to reports of windows being destroyed at their West LA home on February 5th. Callers reported that the window in the second floor bedroom was broken and the home was stolen.
LAFC spokesman Seth Burton declined to comment beyond reviewing the robbery report on behalf of Giroud and the organization.
Giroud is best known for his six prolific seasons at Arsenal from 2012-18 to 2012-18, and lasts for three years in Chelsea and Milan. He scored 285 goals in 716 games in his club’s career, including a Champions League victory against Chelsea three years ago.
He is also a star of the French national team, scoring 57 goals and played for the 2018 World Cup winner for Lesbuls.
Giroud is preparing with LAFC for the upcoming Major League football season, and his team will kick off with Minnesota United this Saturday.
