A woman who was sought for theft of San Bernardino County’s $3,000-plus retail product was arrested after fleeing police and attempting to crash her vehicle on a sudden levee, authorities said Tuesday.
The February 14 incident unfolded at a 24-hour pharmacy on Foothill Boulevard and Mountain Avenue in the highlands just after 2:30am.
Upland Police Station officials responded to reports of “ongoing theft,” and were faced by a pharmacy employee who told police that the only female suspect had loaded up some cart equivalent goods. Sometimes I was able to escape the store with one cart.
Witnesses told police that they threw the stolen product into the red Kia soul and fled the area.
In a news release of the update posted to social media, officials said that responding officers were able to find a southbound trip in the traffic jam on Mountain Avenue, but concessions were made when police tried to stop her car. He said he failed to do so.

Police chased her, and the woman went on a westbound highway where she eventually left Fairplex Drive and tried to lose the authorities on the hill above Bracketfield Airport in Raverne.

“The woman then entered the RV park where she misjudged her turn and slipped the embankment into the bushes,” the release elaborated.
Camera footage covered in the body of the incident shows officers leaving the vehicle with firearms depicted, approaching the crashed car and leaving the vehicle.
The suspect was arrested and items worth approximately $3,145 were collected from her car.
